Aircraft on the airport platform

Who we are

Algeria's partner for the aviation transition

AéroNéo Algeria is an integrated industrial project, in preparation phase, dedicated to the maintenance, preservation, transformation and recovery of commercial aircraft in Africa.

Project status — AéroNéo Algeria is in pre-launch phase. The company is preparing its industrial operations and awaits the award of an airport exploitation concession on a 300-hectare site in southern Algeria, plus its approvals (PART-145 EASA & FAA, P2F authorization, AFRA and ISO processes). Under Algerian law, airport infrastructure remains State property : the concession, if granted, will provide an exploitation right without transfer of ownership. At this stage, AéroNéo does not conduct any commercial activity. Figures shown (300 ha, 3 hangars, 100 slots) reflect the project's planned sizing. See status of accreditations

Our mission

Making Algeria the cornerstone of Africa's aviation autonomy

An Algerian-law company dedicated to promoting Algerian aerospace know-how and skills.

AéroNéo Algeria was born of a national observation: Algeria has a long-standing civil aviation heritage and renowned aerospace schools — the National Polytechnic School of Algiers, the Institute of Aeronautics and Space Studies at Blida 1, the ASAL space programme — yet its heavy-maintenance, long-term storage, cargo-conversion and dismantling operations still depend on technical operators based abroad. Our first mission is to build this industrial autonomy in Algeria, for Algeria.

Concretely, AéroNéo will develop an integrated industrial centre covering the full lifecycle of a commercial aircraft. The project rests on an airport-concession application covering a 300-hectare site in southern Algeria, with three hangars, one hundred parking slots and a training centre tied to a partner Algerian aerospace university. The goal: to offer the Algerian air-transport ecosystem — authorities, carriers, training — a national industrial counterpart on high value-added operations.

On this Algerian foundation, AéroNéo is positioned to become the pivot of aviation autonomy across the African continent. Africa hosts a growing share of world air traffic, but its fleets depend almost entirely on technical operators based outside the continent — every operation forces a costly and ecologically absurd repositioning. Once the concession is awarded and approvals granted, the Algerian site will serve as a continental MRO platform for airlines, lessors and African aviation authorities.

Algiers HQ, industrial site in the south

Our registered office is located in Zéralda (Algiers). The industrial site targeted by our airport-concession application — 300 hectares in southern Algeria — benefits from a dry, hot Saharan climate recognized as one of the world's most favorable for aircraft preservation. The site's exact name will be disclosed once our concession is awarded and our official approvals granted.

Our roadmap

From an Algerian SARL to an integrated industrial hub

Four structuring milestones — from legal incorporation to full international certification.

  1. Creation

    Incorporation of AéroNéo Algeria

Incorporation of the Algerian-law SARL — independent legal entity dedicated to aircraft maintenance and recovery activities in Africa.

  2. Infrastructure

    300-ha dedicated airport

Mobilization of a dedicated airport — 300 hectares in southern Algeria, close to the continent's main air corridors and the Mediterranean basin.

  3. In progress

    PART-145 & P2F certifications

Engagement of PART-145 EASA and FAA certification processes for the MRO activity. P2F (Passenger-to-Freighter) authorization application under review with the aeronautical authorities.

  4. Horizon

    World-class aeronautical training

Anchoring of the partner university training center; mid-term target: PART-147 approval to make the site a continental reference for aeronautical training.

What sets us apart

Four convictions that drive us

Beyond technical expertise, AéroNéo is defined by an assumed industrial stance and a continental ambition.

Vertical integration

One operator, one site, one chain of responsibility: our clients gain simplicity, traceability and timeliness across every operation entrusted to us.

Circular economy

Green Recycling drives our industrial conviction: make an aircraft's end-of-life a resource, not a waste. A Clean Tech approach, from dismantling to the material stream.

International compliance

EASA & FAA PART-145, AFRA best practices, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001: international compliance is a backbone, not an option.

African anchor

Our vocation is to reduce African aviation's dependence on European, American and Asian technical centers. An operational answer, on the continent.
